Now available for pre-order. Aqua Guard is a solar-powered, floating water quality monitor built for shrimp aquaculture ponds. It samples pond water automatically and sends the results to a simple web dashboard, so problems can be spotted before they affect a harvest.
What it measures: pH, dissolved oxygen, temperature, total dissolved solids (TDS), and residual chlorine.
How it works:
Floats on sealed PVC pontoons, with a two-layer shell that keeps the electronics separate from the water.
Draws water through a filtered intake hose from 2 feet below the surface into a sealed sampling tank.
Takes four readings a day by default, with an adjustable schedule.
Runs on a 20 W solar panel and an onboard 12 V battery, sleeping between readings to save power.
Shows each reading as green (safe), yellow (warning), or red (critical) on the web dashboard, with history graphs and local-language translation.
Includes: the Aqua Guard floating unit, a handheld touchscreen controller for pond-side readings, access to the web dashboard, and an operation and maintenance manual.
